Latest Hackathons - Apr-May 2021

There are some great new hackathons that have been recently launched. These hackathons provide an opportunity to use new technologies, learn/refine skills and participate in social good challenges, all while getting a shot at some awesome prizes.

Below are the details:

5G Edge Computing Challenge with AWS and Verizon
GOAL: Submit your ideas for a creative application you plan to build in Round 2 that displays the benefits of AWS infrastructure running on Verizon’s 5G Edge. (200 will advance to Round 2)
ROUND 2: Build out your Round 1 Idea with special access to AWS Wavelength and Verizon 5G
PRIZES: $50,000 in prizes

The Worthy Web App Challenge
GOAL: Build or modernize a web app that is designed in some way to make the world a better place using Telerik UI for Blazor, Kendo UI for Angular or KendoReact front-end components.
PRIZES: $40,000 in prizes
