Hey folks!

RUCS is hosting an event on Wednesday Jan. 9th 5-7 PM in BA3200. If you’re interested in doing undergrad research in CS, you should absolutely attend. The event will be an informal social mixer.

We will be joined by 9 faculty members, all of whom have projects in the Undergrad Summer Research Program (NSERC USRA/UTEA) for summer 2019. The faculty attendees are: Peter Marbach, Sheila McIlraith, Ishtiaque Ahmed, Micheal Hoffman, Maryam Mehri Dehanvi, Eric Yu, Joseph Jay Williams, and Anna Goldenburg.

We’ll also be joined by a career advisor who will give two mini workshops (at 5:15 and 6:15) on writing a CV/resume and cover letter, and answering any questions you mights have. Please bring a printout of your CV/resume and a cover letter if you would like to receive personalize feedback from her.

The event will be unstructured – you’ll be a able to walk around, chat with profs, chat with fellow students, and eat some snacks.

See you there!
