Book Depot is seeking a highly motivated individual for an opportunity to work on real world problems at our warehouse distribution center. We have invested heavily in automation technology and are always seeking ways to improve our throughput and efficiency. We believe that there is a lot of room for improvement on our algorithms that manage the flow of our goods, specifically our product sortation algorithm.

Ideally, we are seeking a Master’s Student (or 4th year Undergrad) with a Mathematics and/or Computer Science background. The work term would begin in January 2021 and go through till the end of April 2021 (dates are flexible), with the possibility of extending the term until the end of July 2021.

If you are interested, please send a resume and cover letter to jobs@bookdepot.com indicating “Operations Algorithm Specialist” in the subject line.
