Are you ready to connect STEM, empowerment and professional development with delegates and renowned academic and entrepreneurial speakers from all across the world? Join us at the WISE National Conference 2021, an international annual conference celebrating women in STEM that creates opportunities to launch their futures. Each year, our conferences have connected 400+ delegates, and in our 9th year of operation, we hope to connect even more!

This year, we are also expanding our competition categories with top prizes and potential publication opportunities:

Category I: 3-Minute Thesis (3MT)

Worked on a research project over the past summer? Formulating an exciting idea to explore? Or even better, already generating meaningful data to test your hypothesis? Whether you’re at the stage of continuing your summer research or working on your thesis, you are the perfect fit for the 3MT competition at WISE NC 2021! Sign up to share the highlights and significance of your research for a chance to win $200 or $100 and to receive academic and industry mentorship from experts in those fields!! This year, we are partnering with URNCST, the largest peer-reviewed undergraduate journal in Canada and all participants will have their abstracts published on the newest issue of URNCST journal for FREE!! :speaking_head::speaking_head::speaking_head:
Audience: Individual undergraduate and graduate students are welcome to apply

Category II: Research Pitch Proposal (RPP)

Challenge yourself in the new year to test your skills and knowledge in a field you are passionate about! In a team of 3, enter 1 of 4 RPP streams - Infectious Disease, Psychology, AI & Healthcare, and Environmental Remediation - for a chance to win $750 and receive academic and industry mentorship from experts in these fields!! :woman_scientist: :star2::moneybag::moneybag::moneybag:
Audience: Both undergraduates and graduate students are welcome to apply! You do not need to have a team of 3 to register - we will put you in a full team! If you have a team of 3, only 1 team member must register for the whole team.

Note: you may participate in both RPP and 3MT, since presentations will take place on different days.

Category III: Consulting Case Competition

More details to come!!!
