Job description

The study will be testing the effectiveness of a peer-review platform for supporting the writing development of English Language Learners. The site must allow users to be assigned into a peer-review group, and allow users within the group to message one another. The application would need to be ready by mid-August.
You should have experience in web design, preferably with Flask. There will be occasional meetings on Campus (at Bahen) but most of the work can be done from home.
If you are interested in this opportunity, please email your resume to Amna at aliaqat@taglab.ca.
Overview of Lab
The Technologies for Aging Gracefully Lab (TAGlab) was founded by Ronald Baecker in 2008. We design aids, systems, and experiences that support aging throughout the life course with the goal of fostering a sense of community, identity, and autonomy for our users. Building from insights we develop through our research process, the TAGteam strives to convert knowledge into workable prototypes.
Drawing on the skills and experience of programmers, user experience experts, and industrial designers, TAGlab produces high quality prototypes that allow us to field-test our research questions and create practical solutions for everyday life.
These prototypes go through an iterative process, applying layers of new understanding, resulting in products that are easy, intuitive and delightful to use.
