I’m trying to setup my mail client to send and receive mail with my teaching labs address.
http://www.cdf.toronto.edu/faq.html#MAIL5 gives us the POP3 server for incoming mail, but what about the SMTP server for outgoing mail?
What would be the host, port, and authentication method?

We do not provide an SMTP server to which you can connect from the outside of our network. You can use your Internet provider’s SMTP server for your outgoing mail.
You should also be able to use the University’s SMTP server…

Username: this is the same as your email address (usually of the form “firstname.lastname@mail.utoronto.ca”)
