The Teaching Labs file server, remote login servers and database server will have a brief downtime during
THURSDAY OCTOBER 21 9am-10am
The downtime should only be a few minutes, but we are scheduling
1 hour for worst case.
File server downtime will cause a brief disruption to various
teach.cs servers and workstations. You may notice some ‘freezing’
for a couple of minutes, but your connection will not be dropped.
Remote login and database servers affected with the downtime are:
- Compute/login server: wolf.teach.cs
- Graphical interface remote login server: nxsrv.teach.cs
(x2go.teach.cs rdp.teach.cs) - Graphical interface remote login server: nxsrv2.teach.cs
(x2go2.teach.cs rdp2.teach.cs) - Database server: dbsrv1.teach.cs
