Hello,

I’m Saadwi, a high school senior and part of the organizing committee for Hack the Northeast: a free 36-hour hackathon that will be held virtually on June 5-7.

A hackathon is a primarily computer science focused event where students can work in teams of 2-4 people to make a project (typically apps, websites, or games) to further their knowledge of computer science. Students will work on this project for 36 hours and will learn a lot in the process. Anyone can participate and we will be hosting workshops that cater to a variety of skill levels, plus we will have experienced mentors available. HTNE is free and anyone can attend!

The team at HTNE is working hard to make this event memorable and exciting, so we want to get as many CS enthusiasts as possible to take advantage of this opportunity.

Thanks,
Saadwi B.
