Overview:
PuraJuniper is searching for an individual who is passionate about healthcare and data. We are looking for someone who can adapt, likes to solve problems, can handle complexity, and is open to learning a lot about healthcare systems and healthcare IT. Our company works with a variety of clients at different project stages, so things can be very dynamic.
Qualifications
- Experience with one or more programming language(s) and applicable IDE(s) such as JavaScript, Java, Python, C, C++
- Java strongly preferred
- Ability to create detailed notes, documentation, reports, and requirements
- Understanding of complex process mapping
- Great time and project management skills
- Able to juggle multiple projects
- Able to work independently
- Experience working with with XML and JSON objects
- Experience with RESTful APIs
- Experience working with databases is an asset
- Contributions to open source projects is an asset
- Experience in healthcare settings is an asset
Duties:
- Salary range $45,000-49,000 + Benefits
- Able to start at $21.63-$23.55/hr part-time and roll over to full time
- Contribute to the development of open source frameworks to enable exchange of health information
- Attend international meetings on the development of data standards to enable interoperability of healthcare data
- Create complex process maps of user flows
- Mock up or prototype solutions for clients
- Write sections of international technical standards specifications
