Hello!
We’re students at the University of Toronto, working alongside the City of Toronto, looking to get feedback on how decisions can be better made in our city. We are reaching out to you today to get participation from you and your peers in our upcoming workshop on Tuesday, July 23rd from 6-8 PM at Fife House’s Community Room.
To give you some context, the City implemented an interim structure guiding how decisions are made in our city following the Ontario Government’s slash to City Council last fall. This structure was established alongside the Special Committee on Governance, who is now looking to engage with Toronto residents to get feedback on what works, what doesn’t, and any new ideas regarding how decisions are made in Toronto.
If interested in attending, please RSVP for free through our Eventbrite page at https://www.eventbrite.ca/myevent?eid=65967244805
Refreshments for all guests will be provided. Participants will be entered in a draw to win Starbucks gift cards.
If you’re unable to attend but still want your voice heard, please complete our anonymous online survey by July 25th at 11:59PM at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScvl1yGD0S-hqj14D4sNN37ED8cR7IT2TIIaqM1JgawOncJLQ/viewform
We look forward to hearing your voices!
