Founded in 2017 in Montreal, by Professor and DeepMind Research Lead Doina Precup
<https://www.linkedin.com/in/doina-precup-1ba61314/> and Angelique Mannella <https://www.linkedin.com/in/angeliquemannella/>, the AI For Good Summer Labtakes place over 7 weeks (May 8 to June 21 2019) and brings together a cohort of up to 30 exceptional women from across Canada.
Our partners include DeepMind, Google, Element AI, The Montreal Institute for Learning Algorithms, the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research and many more!
The Lab consists of a mashup of AI lectures, workshops, a hackathon, and self-directed team projects. Instructors and mentors include university researchers, graduate students, and practitioners from startups, corporates, inter-governmental organizations.
