Work-study with CS professor: Research Assistant for CS Education Projects

Research Assistant for CS Education Projects (1 positions, 9-12 hours per week, Supervisor: Craig)

Assist with research studies in computer science education including some minimal data entry, writing R code to analyze data and creating dissemination materials (papers, posters, videos). Edit videos for online C modules delivered in PCRS-C. Update problem descriptions and test-cases in PCRS-C.

To apply for this job, you should have completed CSC 209 and enjoyed programming in C. You should be interested in CS education research and teaching programming.

Desirable qualifications include experience creating or editing videos, programming experience in R, knowledge of statistics for research studies. While all of these skills would be helpful, the successful candidate could also learn them on the job.

Hours are flexible, but you must be available for a weekly meeting with Prof Craig during regular business hours.
