Work Study Opportunity - UofT Decision Neuroscience Lab

Join the team at the Toronto Decision Neuroscience laboratory this summer to take part in a unique project investigating the intention-behavior gap. The intention-behavior gap refers to the common experience of planning or wanting to do something (exercise, good to bed early, study, etc.) but then having difficulty actually doing that thing.

We are conducting in-the-field cutting edge research using smartphone apps to collect daily task data, cognitive data, and passive data (heart rate, activity, app usage, etc.) to better understand and predict individual gap levels.

We are looking for two candidates to take part this summer. Our main criteria is a good work ethic and enthusiasm and interest in the project, but we are also looking for one person with experience in web development (javascript, html) to help us refine the app, as well as a second person with strong machine learning skills to help develop predictive models (e.g. recurrent neural nets, etc.).

Further details about the position can be found on the work study website (ID: 176552 - Software Engineer). Feel free to reach out to daniel.j.wilson@gmail.com with any questions.
