The Financial Innovation Hub (FinHub) at the Rotman School of Management at UofT is looking for CS undergraduate students to work with an industry sponsor during summer 2018 on a FinTech project.

Each project will be assigned a team of management and technology students consisting of four undergraduate students – two from Rotman Commerce and two from Computer Science. Each team will have a faculty mentor. Each student will work approximately 500 hours during 3-4 months. Brief examples of project topics include:
- Using bank customer data to construct leading indicators for macro trends.
- Textual analysis of news stories to guide real-time decision-making.
- Comparing default prediction from machine learning with standard models.
- Predicting most likely next sale from past customer purchases.
