Quantum AI Talks - IEEE UofT Student Branch, February 13th

Ever heard of quantum computing? In 2019, google achieved “quantum supremacy”, claiming to perform a computation in about 3 minutes that would take the fastest supercomputers about 10,000 years! Imagine using this computational power to build ML algorithms, solve optimization problems, enhance cryptography and find solutions to the problems in chemistry that would lead to new drug discoveries.

Join us for ‘QAI Talks’ a free 4-hour seminar on Saturday, February 13th to learn about quantum computing and its intersection with AI from researchers and professionals from academia and the industry. Plus, have the chance to network with companies and organizations that offer opportunities for students to gain practical experience from the field. Some of these organizations are: Creative Destruction Lab, Quantum Open Source Foundation, IQC UWaterloo, Zapata Computing and more… .

This event is hosted by IEEE UofT, for more information and free registration search QAI Talks or go to: https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/qai-talks-tickets-134344099819

For any questions or concerns, please email us at QAITalks@ieee.utoronto.ca

We hope to see you on Feb.13th!
