Opportunities for Undergraduate Research In Computer Science

OurCS is a 3 day research-focused workshop (since 2008) for undergraduate women in computing
Venue: School of Computer Science, Carnegie Mellon University
Dates: October 18th, 19th, and 20th

Attendees work in a small team on a research project led, and designed by, faculty or industry researchers and their PhD students.

The workshop gives undergraduate women opportunities to:
– Meet others who share their curiosity and interest in computer science
–Tackle research problems hands-on
–Learn about life in graduate school
–Present a talk/poster: great for first-timers!

We cover hotel for 3 nights and all meals but not travel expenses.
