Job Description
mobileLIVE Inc is currently looking to recruit a strong front-end Developer, who is familiar with having extensive knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, AngularJS, SASS/Less and has strong concepts in object oriented JavaScript. The candidate must have built single page application web applications, XHR calls, and used Angular UI Router.
The candidate must be organized, detail oriented, possess the ability to prioritize workload, handle concurrent responsibilities and project tasks, and work individually and collaboratively in a team environment.
The successful candidate must have a minimum of 0-2 years of overall programming work experience in web development. Candidates should be ready to present examples of previous development work on existing public websites (if available) and/or on the developer’s personal site (if available).
Mandatory skills
- Must know how to write a modular JavaScript, the candidate may be asked to produce some snippets of past coding styles
- 0-2 years’ experience with hand-coded HTML5/HTML, and client-side JavaScript, cascading style sheets (CSS3) in a web application environment.
- Experience with jQuery, jQueryMobile, jQuery UI libraries/best practices preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Quick learner, self-starter, with a proactive attitude
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at the same time while meeting deadlines
- Ability to merge code using git/SVN code repositories
- Experience with dependency management tools such as Bower or Grunt
- Strong Experience and Knowledge of HTML5
- Understanding of development tools: Eclipse & Dreamweaver
Strongly Preferred skills:
- Strongly preferred candidates with knowledge of ionic Framework
- Similarly knowledge of JavaScript unit testing framework such as Jasmine, would be an advantage
- Experienced with Localstorage, Cookies, HTTP headers
- Excellent knowledge of Cascading style sheets CSS/CSS3
- Knowledge of secure web application coding techniques
- JSON, XML, AJAX
- Knowledge of Cordova is additional asset.
