ACE Web Designer/Developer

The successful candidate will work with the Classroom Design & Development team to review, revise, redesign, develop, and manage the existing overall online presence of the University of Toronto’s Academic & Campus Events department’s Transforming the Instructional Landscape initiative (http://ace.utoronto.ca/transforming).

Duties to include:

  • Design and develop webpage layout, including executing all visual design stages from concept to engineering.
  • Conceptualize original website design ideas to ensure user content is clear and accessible.
  • Create storyboards, user flows, and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas.
  • Update content as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in standard web development and visual design software.
  • Understanding of current web trends, techniques, and technologies.
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
  • Able to work as part of a team collaborating and contributing to ensure success of overall and individual goals.
